Side Tables and desk
I Just finished a few new projects this week, a file cabinet, night stands, and a desk chair set that I am really excited about. I have been all about decorating with pops of color lately so I painted these pieces colorful as well. These pieces are are sure to make a statement in any home. Here are so before and after photos.

This is the Rustic desk I just finished and love the way it turned out. I picked up this desk and chair at a local thrift store. It was really rough looking and looked like someone tried to strip the original finish but stopped half way through the project and just left it. (sorry I forgot to take a before pic.) So as normal I pulled it into the garage, I closed my eyes and thought okay what does this desk want to look like and how might I be inspired. Then I realized how much I loved the look of the striped wood, so rustic and worn, so I let that lead me. After a light sanding I painted the piece a brownish green "white wash" effect which is just mixing 60/ 40 % paint and water this helps the original wood show through, changed the hardware, and left the top two drawers wood colored for a unique look I just love. This one is going in the house until it sells.
